Why do I have to pay a deposit?
The purpose of the deposit is to lock in your date + time.
When do I pay the remainder?
The remainder of your session + travel fee (if applicable) is due immediately following your session. No images will be delivered until the final payment is made.
Where do I take the photos?
We can take them wherever you like!
If that's a park near you, downtown Chicago, the beach, or even your backyard!
If it's within a 50 mile radius of me I'll be there.
I ALSO travel outside of that with some travel fees to cover the cost of transportation of course!
What happens if it rains?
If the weather is crazy/I am sick/etc, we will put your deposit toward a re-schedule. However, if you simply don’t show up to the session, the deposit will not be refunded.
Can I bring a friend/someone to my session?
Yes of course! Bring a friend, parent, spouse! Whoever can cheer you on. Whatever will make you feel more comfortable(:
Can I print these photos?
I have a good relationship with a print shop that will do our photos justice and give you the highest quality. You can order those prints directly from your gallery, yes it's that easy!
How long does a photo session usually take?
For my standard portrait and couple sessions, I say about 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on how many outfits you chose to have. Be mindful about how long it takes to change into each outfit as well!
I'm usually generous with my timeframes though and will never cut a session short if we go a little over the allotted time.
Can I use props?
Absolutely!
Bring your instrument, a camera, a soccer ball, or even a stethoscope.
Whatever it is that will make your session and your photos more truly YOU, it's welcome.
